The Neuroscience Center of Excellence believes that patient education is a vital component in the treatment of neurological disorders. Patients who are educated about their conditions and potential surgical procedures are proven to have better outcomes and satisfaction about their care.
Neuroscience at Beaumont provides a number of patient education opportunities including a pre-surgical spine education class, an injury prevention program for middle and high school students, support classes for patients and families recovering from a stroke and education seminars to educate the community about neurological disorders they may be suffering from.
